The Protection Platform launches e-AMRA capability with LV
UnderwriteMe’s Protection Platform has launched the ability for advisers to use an electronic Access to Medical Records application to speed up the Protection customer journey.
The first Insurer to go live with the new feature is LV, and UnderwriteMe expects to be the first of many of the 13 Insurer brands on the Protection Platform.
Phil Nash, Sales Director at UnderwriteMe said “This is a great new feature for the Protection Platform. We pride ourselves on improving the customer journey, speeding up the access to medical records will help protection to become more accessible and reduce the time needed to get customers the cover they need.”
“We are delighted with the eAMRA process that we have implemented with UnderwriteMe within both our Fastway and Protection Platform online journeys.” Says Anna Rogers Head of Underwriting and Claims, LV. “Providing GP access consent digitally at point of sale enables more customers with health conditions to get their valuable protection cover in place quicker, by removing unnecessary delays in the new business process, which is a win-win for all of us.”
UnderwriteMe is hopeful to partner with other insurers for e-AMRA in the coming months.
